We had the intention of making it to afton today.
But when we hit Charlottesville we had a change of heart.
Meg Lally gave us a place to stay.
We could not say "no", besides it felt smart
to end our journey for the day.
The mountains tomorrow will be our first real start,
but for now we have a soft and clean place to lay.
