Wyoming!

Well, as I hope you would have guessed/assumed/hoped we made it over Hoosier Pass. It was a chilly 48 degrees, but we were working hard (by that I mean sweating). The pass itself was fairly easy, just a straight shot up with magnificent views all around to distract from the climb. As coloradans say, Hoosier is surrounded by 14ers, pretty cool!

We dropped down to Breckenridge, where we had some good food and ok beer, then headed to Frisco, where we had even better food and even better beer. But can we say, touristy? It was nice to get out of that area..

As the title suggests we made it to Wyoming! Which means hopefully a week or less until we see Meg in Jackson! Colorado and the Rockies were hard to leave, there is so much more of the state we must explore, but we hear Wyoming has a lot to offer as well!

We can't upload pictures here.. Which is unfortunate because we have 2 states worth now, eeek! But we will keep working on it. For now, it is off to the local (and free) hot springs.

  1. Hi Stephen! Hi Erica! I'm so glad we could host you the other day ... and glad to meet you! We have prayed for you and other cyclists, for safety, for few flat tires, for few bugs (stingers OR VIRUSES), and for LOTS of folks to take care of you on the road.
We had a fellow come through the last week who is ROLLER-BLADING from Minnesota to Kentucky to Maine and down the east coast (raising money for rebuilding schools in Haiti). When he got here he was only 1/4 way through a 4000 mile trip! Enjoyed reading your blog, and trust your trip is still going well, and on time. God bless you!
